Based in Tottenham, North London, Mafia Moves is a community running collective that focuses on representation and access to running and movement for all. Founder Andre Coggins grew up in the area, competing at a national level in athletics, but quickly realised that his community was severely under-represented in sports, and that many people he spoke to felt there wasn't opportunity to get involved in running in the area.

At first, Mafia Moves was a small and informal weekly meet-up on Saturday mornings that grew steadily to the present day, where a host of regulars gather outside the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with a range of pace groups and ability levels for all.

Adrian Varzaru, our man on the ground, got to know the crew last summer, documenting his visit with this set of phots.
