When Kimiko Ninomiya moved from NYC to London, she searched across the city for a club which not only was supportive and safe for women, but was unashamedly performance oriented. So, having come up with the iconic Black Roses group in NYC, Ninomiya decided to build something that met her needs. If you build it, they will come.

Hot Boys Athletics is a shining result of Kimiko's efforts: a women-only group that proudly chases performance. The women are there not just to 'go to run club', but there to train, and train hard. But also to have a safe space to do so as a woman in the world.

Adrian recently made his way to document a recent session in Victoria Park.

For more on the origins of Hot Boys Athletics, read Raziq Rauf's interview profile of Kimiko on Yahoo Creators.
